Fresh 48

Brand new

A Fresh 48 photoshoot captures the first 48 hours of a newborn's life, usually as soon as you are home and comfortable. It's an opportunity to document the early moments, the first interactions, and the genuine emotions of the family.

Newborn photoshoot typically occurs within the first two weeks of the baby's life. The focus is on capturing the baby's adorable features, using carefully curated setups and poses to create timeless and heart warming images.

Booking your Session


Non-Refundable Deposit

All family and wedding photography bookings with Sarah Stanley Photography require a deposit to secure the date and time. The deposit is strictly non-refundable in all circumstances, including but not limited to cancellation, postponement, or failure to attend by the client. No booking is confirmed until the deposit has been received. The deposit will be applied toward the total cost of the agreed photography package.

FAQ

How many pictures will we receive from a family photoshoot?

Please see session collections for images included. If you choose the full gallery you will receive a minimum of 30 images.

How should we dress for our family session?

Plain, neutral colours work well, denim looks great. Avoid large logos and slogans.

What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?

Within the first 21 days ideally is best for a newborn but don't hesitate to contact me if your baby is older than this. We do have options.

Do you offer mini sessions?

I do offer Seasonal Mini sessions. These are 20 minute sessions on set days and come with a limited number of images.

Do you only cover full day weddings?

No, if you would like wedding coverage for just a couple of hours this is absolutely available for you. Please get in touch for a quote.

What is a milestone session?

Milestone sessions are to celebrate little or big moments. Your baby has learned to sit perhaps or they are turning one year old. Many have a cake smash for a birthday sessions which includes three set ups, mixing the cake, eating the cake and then a splash to wash the cake off! Super messy fun!
